Tom J. Ervin has been admitted to practice in South Carolina since 1977. Tom handles primarily Social Security Disability appeals for applicants who have been turned down for disability benefits. Tom is a former Commissioner for the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission, a former Circuit Court Judge and a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association. Tom is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR). He has lectured at numerous Continuing Legal Education seminars.
Don Kamb has been with Kathryn Williams, P.A. since he graduated from the South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to practice in South Carolina in 1999. Don drafts pre-trial briefs, proposed orders and appellate briefs for the firm's Workers' Compensation practice. He has written numerous briefs for the appellate courts in South Carolina and the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission. Don has also drafted briefs for the firm's United States Supreme Court appeals.
Melissa Suarez Miller prior to joining the firm as an attorney, she assisted Kathryn Williams, P.A. for several years with legal writing and research while completing a legal clerkship with the North Carolina Institute for Constitutional Law and serving as Executive Director of a local charity. Her diverse legal experience give her a unique perspective on the complexities of workers' compensation litigation.
